Oh hey! I'm Kevin Parkinson, a former teacher and principal of Title I schools (traditional district and public charter). I have degrees from Illinois State University and Columbia University, and I spend a ton of my time thinking and writing about how an understanding of the latest in decision-making research could help educators become happier and more effective.

I live with my wife and three kids in the capital city of Mississippi. I enjoy running, tattoos, NPR, audiobooks, board games, being outdoors, TV comedies, and good food.
